Since qualifying from Barts and The London in 2014, Krissma has gained experience in various fields of dentistry, such as oral and maxillofacial surgery, special care, general practice and conscious sedation. She completed her diploma in conscious sedation in 2019 at the prestigious Kings College London.
Krissma currently works in special care dentistry, which involves managing anxious patients and improving their confidence through a caring and dignified approach.
This role has provided her with varied experience in treating vulnerable patients under inhalation sedation, intravenous sedation and general anaesthesia.
Krissma is the visiting dental seditionist for VP Implantology, where she provides intravenous sedation to assist Dr Vishal with managing his patients undergoing dental implant treatment. Her philosophy is to ensure all patients are provided with safe, effective sedation to achieve a calm and relaxing experience.
